Is Tonight The Season Finale Of Scrubs Or The Series Finale?

On the website it said season finale, but I thought this was Scrubs last season.

On January 29, 2009, Lawrence seemed to tell a crowd at his alma mater, the College of William and Mary, that the eighth season of Scrubs would be the last,[53] but he has since clarified that his actual meaning was that if it continues after Braff leaves, “it would have to be a different show (maybe even different title)”.[54]
On April 16, 2009 Bill Lawrence wrote on the abc.com message boards that a season 9 of Scrubs was still “50/50.”[55] As of May 3, 2009, ABC was billing the episode ‘My Finale’ as only a “finale” and not a series or season finale.[56] On April 28, 2009 it was announced that ABC was in talks to renew Scrubs for another year.[57]
I just watched it, and I hope that it is the series finale. Zach Braff is leaving he is the central character and everything was really well summed up. I can honestly say as a true fan of the show that I am ok with this as the end.
I am afraid anymore would do serious damage to the show.
well they say its only season finale, but with jd gone and even dr. kelso moving on to his own practice, there’s really no chance it will return unless the story line is that jd realized that sacred heart was his home and returns for another season
It is the series finale. I’m watching it right now and I miss it already….. They say it is only season finale but you can count on it not coming back.
Just saw the commerical for tonight’s epsiode and it says that it is just the Season Finale still
