Jake Peavy Trade?

Offered Peavy for red hot Jay Bruce and not so hot Aaron Harrang……..
I would be losing a great prospect but Peavy is the man…..
Any thoughts on me taking the risk with Peavy???????
My pitching Staff is so weak!!!!!!
I wouldn’t even ask this question and get peavy RITE AWAY. He’s coming back real soon, he has throw-and catch sesson next week and he’ll be ready to go off DL and play in the week after that “throw-and catch sesson ” week. GET HIM! It’s a wise choice to get Peavy for sure.
go for it dude. jake peavy is still on the DL and Jay Bruce, as u already know, is having a really good start. and Aaron Harrang is a pretty good pitcher, he has finished in the Cy Young voting for two years in a row(i think). of course u will have your doubts, Jake Peavy won the Cy Young, I think u have to make this trade..this coming from a of Padres fan.
You get Peavy? I’d do it then. Peavy will be great when he comes back, he has proved it before. Bruce is hot right now but we’ll see how the long season wears down the rookie. If you don’t need the extra offense for right now then I’d wait it out.
Peavy’s on the DL. Harang is a good enough starter, and Bruce is a hot enough prospect that I would not give them up for Peavy.

as soon as pitchers figure out bruce,he wont be red hot anymore.peavy will be coming off the dl soon.i would keep peavy.
Tough choice, if I were you I would ride this Bruce kid till Peavy gets off the DL
