Who Has The Best 1 Thru 5 Rotation In Both Leagues?
Posted on July 30th, 2009 by admin
I am a Cubs fan but 1 thru 5 my favs are…..
In the AL its the Detroit Tigers
1.Justin Verlander
2.Dontrelle Willis
3.Jeremy Bonderman
4.Kenny Rogers
5.Nate Robertson
In the NL its the San Diego Padres
1.Jake Peavy
2.Chris Young
3.Greg Maddux
4.Randy Wolf
5.Mark Prior (coming back in May)

The Detroit Rotation AND Lineup is Scarey LMAO! and im a yankee fan.
Verlander
Rogers
Willis
Robertson
Bonderman
Though the Rotation HASTA LIVE UP TO ITS POTENTIAL! If it does, thats best in AL, just ahead of Clevelands top to bottom.
In NL i agree the Padres
Peavy
Young
Maddux
Wolf
Prior (if he comes back and is 40% of what he was, he is prolly the best number 5 in NL)
You cant include Boston… Too Many questions. Beckett and Matsuzaka, are the only gurantees. Wakefild was not good last year, and the Two kids you cant assume anything about. i mean if im going to assume that Bostons youth will be there, then yould haveta include the babies in the Yankee rotation as givenes, Hughes, Kennedy and Chamberlain? no, Let them do it first, Bucholz and Lester, no, let them do it First.
SEA and tie between ARI and SD. Webb, Haren and Johnson can compete with Peavy, Young, and Maddux.
santana…….ny mets
martinez
maine
perez
el duque
i agree with your al pick
the red sox in the al
the nl is jv league
in the AL it’s the Red Sox
Beckett (robbed of a Cy Young), Schilling (though I doubt he’s going to play with that shoulder), Matsuzaka (he’s bound to improve this year like beckett improved from 06 to 07), Wakefield, and Buccholz or Lester
if Schilling doesn’t play, then we have both Buccholz and Lester starting, which is actually pretty good news
undeniably, in the NL it’s the Padres, I can’t argue with that
I Agree with the NL
But dont forget, AL- Boston Red Sox
Josh Beckett
Daisuke Matsuzaka
Tim Wakefield
Jon Lester
Clay Buchholz
& Schilling – when he comes back…
angels
1 John Lackey
2 Kelvim Escobar
3 Jon Garland
4 Jered Weaver
5 Ervin Santana/ Joe Saunders
padres
AL Indians
1. Sabathia
2. Carmona
3. Westbrook
4. Byrd
5. Laffey
NL Padres
1. Peavy
2. Young
3. Maddux
4. Wolf
5. Prior who will probably be injured again
In the AL I believe it is
Eric Bedard
Felix Hernandez
Jared Washburn
Carlos Silva
Migual Bastista
For the NL Ibelieve you are right.Good and fun question thanks!
boston
Padres in the NL
in the AL its very close between Detroit, Cleveland, and Boston
This does not even need arguing! The twins will get Liriano back! All i need to say
